Accessibility at Red Rocks

Wheelchair Accessible
At our venue, Row 1 and Row 70 are wheelchair accessible and accessible seats must be selected at the point of purchase. If you have already purchased tickets and now require accessible accommodations, please contact your point of purchase to inquire about an exchange. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee an accommodation in Row 1 or Row 70 without a ticket for that row.
Wheelchair accessible seats are 36” x 12”. We do not have wheelchairs available for rental. You may choose to remain in your wheelchair or transfer to a venue-provided folding chair. If you would like a folding chair, please notify a staff member in your area and we will be glad to store your wheelchair near your row.
Limited Mobility
If you do not require the use of a wheelchair but would benefit from the features of our accessible seats, please select Limited Mobility seating at your point of purchase or email redrocksaccess@denvergov.org for assistance.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Row 2, seats 6-21 are reserved for guests who have low-vision, are blind, deaf or hard of hearing. Tickets for this section must be selected at the point of purchase.
To request an ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or reserve an assistive listening device, please contact redrocksaccess@denvergov.org no later than 7 days prior to your ticketed event date.
Blind or Low Vision
Row 2, seats 6-21 are reserved for guests who have low-vision, are blind, deaf or hard of hearing. Tickets for this section must be selected at the point of purchase.
Our venue has an I-MAG screen on the south side of the stage. Magnified live video and important messages are displayed during the event on a 20’ x 12’ Daktronics 10MM LED screen and can be viewed from any seat in the amphitheatre. Occasionally artists choose not to use the I-MAG during their performance.
Ticketing
Red Rocks follows the 2010 ADA Revised Requirements regarding the sale of accessible seating. Patrons requiring accessible seating accommodations must request them at their point of purchase. Patrons may purchase (1) accessible seat and up to (3) companion seats adjacent to their accessible seat pending availability for a total of (4) tickets. Due to ticketing procedures, only ticket holders and their ticketed companions can be accommodated in these accessible rows.

To purchase accessible seating online follow these steps:
- Visit our EVENT CALENDAR.
- Click on the event you would like to attend.
- Click the “BUY TICKETS” button (This will redirect you to AXS, our contracted ticketing provider).
- Select “BUY OFFER” under “ACCESSIBLE SEATING.”
- Select the offer that best fits your needs (e.g. Wheelchair accessible or Limited Mobility).
- You will be asked to attest that you or a guest in your party require the features of those accessible seats. Please read the attestation in full.
By purchasing accessible seats, you are attesting that you or a person in your party require the features of those seats. If accessible seating is purchased fraudulently, the purchaser will be subject to investigation and/or relocation.

ATTENTION: You are purchasing accessible seats. All tickets purchased in this section are NON-TRANSFERABLE and must be used by the ORIGINAL purchaser. If accessible seating has been purchased fraudulently, transferred or used in violation of venue policy, the purchaser’s ticketed party is subject to investigation, denial of entry, relocation and/or ejection from the venue. By continuing, you attest that you require, or are purchasing tickets for someone who requires, the features of an accessible seat and further agree to the following terms and conditions:
- AXS Flash Mobile Delivery is the mandatory method of delivery for all seats in this section. Digital tickets will be delivered to the original purchaser’s registered AXS Mobile account.
- Patrons with accessible tickets to Row 1 will be required to enter the amphitheatre through the Southeast entrance.
- All members of the original purchasers ticketed party must arrive together at the Southeast entrance for entry into the venue. Attendees arriving separately from the original purchaser will be denied entry to the venue.
- A registered AXS Mobile ID or the Red Rocks App will be required for entry at the venue gates. Paper tickets will not be allowed for entry at the gates.
- Upon entry at the accessible section entry point inside the venue, all members of the original purchaser’s ticketed party must arrive together. The original purchaser’s photo ID will be verified and all attendees will be wrist banded to gain admittance to the accessible section. Attendees arriving separately to the accessible seating entry point will be denied entry to the accessible section
- Refunds may not be given for any violation of the above terms and conditions.
Tickets can be purchased in person at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre Box Office inside Park Entrance 2 (on event days only) and at the Denver Coliseum Box Office located at 4600 Humboldt Street (Saturdays only from 11am – 3pm). Tickets can also be purchased over the phone at 888-929-7849.
Parking
Non-Event Parking – Accessible parking is available during non-event hours at the Top Circle Lot for access to the Visitor Center and Top Plaza. There are also (3) permanent accessible spaces at the Trading Post for Trading Post visitors.
Event Parking – Designated accessible parking during events is located at the Top Circle Lot (500 feet from Row 70) and Upper South Lot (via Accessible Shuttle to Rows 1 & 2). A valid disability placard or license plate is required to park in an accessible parking space. The person with whom registration of the disability placard or license plate belongs to, must be in the vehicle and identification will be required. All parking is first come, first served, so guests are encouraged to arrive as early as possible to ensure availability.
Official show parking options (2) hours before doors. If you park your vehicle prior to official show parking, you may be asked to relocate your vehicle, or your vehicle may be towed if parked improperly. Please respect the instructions of parking personnel.
If you plan to be picked up at the Top Circle Lot after the show, please instruct your driver to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the end of the show to ensure they do not get caught in one-way egress traffic. The event end time will be updated on our daily automated recording at 720-865-2494.
Accessible Shuttle
Our Accessible shuttle runs on a continuous loop from the Upper South Lot to a drop off point approximately 275 feet from Row 1. Shuttles begin running 30 minutes prior to door time and will continue operating until all patrons requiring the shuttle have returned to their vehicles at the end of the evening. Guests who require the use of a wheelchair will be asked to present a valid Row 1 ticket to gain access to the shuttle. All other guests utilizing wheelchairs will be directed to park in the Top Circle Lot with access to Row 70. You may utilize the accessible shuttle without a disability placard, license plate but you must provide a valid event ticket to ride the accessible shuttle.
Parking Privileges Violation
Parking is not allowed in any access aisles. Management reserves the right to take appropriate action regarding misrepresentation of parking privileges which may include ticketing and towing cars at owner’s expense, reporting of misuse of disability plate/tag to Colorado Motor Vehicle for possible revocation of parking privileges, and/or criminal charges.
Restrooms, Merchandise and Concessions
Accessible restrooms are available at the bottom and top of the amphitheatre. For patrons seated in Row 1, accessible bathrooms are available at the North Concession Stand and on the South Ramp, located to the left and right of the stage on the South ramp and at the North Concession Stand. At the top of the amphitheatre, accessible family restrooms are adjacent to Row 70. There are also accessible restrooms inside the Visitor Center. Access to the Visitor Center is via an elevator located inside the plaza level entrance.
Concession stands are accessible from both seating sections and are indicated on the map. Guests can contact staff members for assistance if interested in food or beverage items.
Service Animals
Service animals are permitted in the amphitheatre. Emotional support animals, comfort animals and therapy dogs are not service animals as defined by the 2010 ADA Guidelines. Each service animal must remain with its owner and be restrained. If a service animal interferes with other guests, corrective action may include re-arranging seating or removal of the service animal from the amphitheatre.
