SELF-GUIDED TOURS

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre is open year-round for free self-guided tours, beginning one hour before sunrise until one hour after sunset. Please note that during the Summer Concert Season (April – October), the Amphitheatre and Visitor Center close early every day in preparation for that night’s event. Closing times vary by event, but the venue is closed by 2:30 PM and often before. For exact closing time, please visit that day’s event page and reference the ‘Visitors Welcome Until’ time or call 720-865-2494 to hear the closing time via the automated daily recording.

Self-guided tours offer a variety of options for visitors. Enjoy walking through the Visitor Center and viewing interactive educational displays featuring the geological and musical history of Red Rocks, an amazing Performers Hall of Fame display, free screening of Oscar-winner Donna Dewey’s documentary and “best of” Red Rocks concert footage. Don’t forget to check out the Colorado Music Hall of Fame inside the Trading Post and take one of our many short hikes to immerse yourself in the Red Rocks environment.

GUIDED TOURS

Year-round, for groups of 15 or more (maximum of 50), we offer guided tours in the mornings. These walking tours lead your group throughout the Amphitheatre, while you learn about the geological wonders that formed the “walls” of Red Rocks, the earliest inhabitants of the territory and the artists that have graced the world-famous stage cradled in between Ship Rock and Creation Rock.
