Easter Sunrise Service

GENERAL ADMISSION AND PARKING ARE FREE
Program Information for the Easter Sunrise Service at Red Rocks–March 27, 2016 will be announced no later than Ash Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016!

4:30 a.m.–Gates open.
5:30 a.m.–Pre-worship service music begins.
6:00 a.m. –Worship service begins.
7:30 a.m. (approximately)–Worship service ends.

General admission is FREE! You are encouraged to arrive no later than 5:00am to provide time for parking and ascending the Red Rocks ramps. Dress casual and warmly in layers.

On March 27, 2016, the Colorado Council of Churches will host its 69th Easter Sunrise Service at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. This a truly unique worship experience that draws people from all across Colorado, the Rocky Mountain region and rest of the nation. Last year, the service had an estimated 14,000 attendees (a record crowd) and another 7,000 people watched the service online (an all-time high). Given the spectacular venue and the wonderful service, it’s no wonder that so many people have this event on their “Bucket List.” You may view past Easter Sunrise Services on YouTube.

To fund the event, Colorado Council of Churches relies on donations collected the morning of the service. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to The Colorado Council of Churches that will be earmarked for the Easter Sunrise Service by March 15, 2016.
